A few stories from the weekend:

We welcomed 3,330 visitors for the weekend!

SALVATION ON THE GANGWAY - Pastor Jimmy from Suriname, a man coming to visit the ship and second man (name unknown) met halfway up/down the gangway at 11:30 this morning. Neither knew we did not open until 14:00. Both came too early. Conversation began between the two and to make a long story short, Jimmy leads this man to faith in Jesus Christ. They decide to go to breakfast and have a coffee that they thought they were going to have on board. At 14:00 they were both back to the ship as Jimmy the Pastor offered to buy this man a Bible which he did. Now that’s true evangelism and proves God’s divine will and purpose over our lives. Be prepared in season and out!!

THE PUDDLE OF TEARS: Chris, a local, is expectantly walking through the I-Café trusting the Lord that he would find at least 7 people to pray with. Why seven I don’t know but that was his goal. I was there orientating 11 people from Tyndale House on a vision team from Chicago. We had just prayed and discussed our “God Story” program; that of living expectantly for divine appointments. Up walks Chris and asks “do you all believe in miracles?” Absolutely, YES I responded! He then went on to share how he was an abused child, lived in an all boy convent, turned gay but accepted the Jesus as Lord of his life four years ago. Now he was desperate for us to pray for his friend who was still gay and was ready to end his life. We had an amazing time of prayer. And then Chris closed in prayer in deep emotion. It was one of those precious prayers never to be forgotten. By the time he finished, there was a small puddle of tears on the floor. Oh that we would pray with more emotion and conviction believing the God does answer prayer!
