Chegando a baia Biscay, o capitão Dirk Colenbrander da Holanda agradeceu a Deus pelo "clima maravilhoso". Ele comentou sobre o arco íris visto na terça feira pela manha enquanto Logos Hope deixava a costa da Espanha.

Biskajanlahdelle saapuessaan kapteenimme Dirk Colenbrander kiitti Jumalaa mahtavasta säästä. Biskajanlahti ei yleensä ole parhaimpia seilauspaikkoja tähän aikaan vuodesta. Hän kertoi sateenkaaresta, joka näkyi taivaalla Logos Hopen seilatessa pohjoiseen Espanjan rannikolta.

Reaching the Bay of Biscay, Captain Dirk Colenbrander (NL) thanked God for the "wonderful weather". He commented on the rainbows seen on Tuesday morning as Logos Hope left the coast of Spain.

Logos Hope segue sua viagem, depois de praticamente 3 dias ancorados em Malta. No Domingo o navio recebeu óleo diesel mas estava esperando uma segunda remessa. Na quarta pela madrugada, depois de um carregamento bem sucedido, os oficiais levantaram ancora e reiniciaram a viagem a Alemanha.

Logos Hope jatkaa matkaansa, kolmen ankkurissa odotetun paivan jalkeen. Keskiviikkoaamuna odotettu tankkaus onnistui ja ankkuri nostettiin ja matkaa jatkettiin kohti Saksaa.

Logos Hope is back underway after almost three days at anchor off Malta. On Sunday the vessel took on diesel oil but was then delayed waiting for a second bunker barge . Early Wednesday morning however, after a successful fueling during the night, officers heaved up anchor and restarted the trip towards Germany.

Logos Hope recebeu parte do combustível e esta esperando para receber o restante. A atmosfera abordo e de alegria e a tripulação esta aliviada por estar finalmente navegando. Os estabilizadores, a propela dianteira e os 4 motores estão funcionando bem.

Logos Hope sai osan tankkauksesta suoritettua, mutta jai odottamaan toista "annosta". Ilmapiiri laivalla on innostunut ja tyytyvainen kun vihdoinkin ollaan merella. Laivan stabilisaattorit, nelja moottoria ja kolme generaattoria toimivat hyvin, siita huolimatta, etta ne ovat olleet kayttamatta viimeiset pari vuotta.

Logos Hope took on diesel oil and is currently awaiting another barge bringing heavy fuel oil. The atmosphere on board is cheerful, the crew relieved to finally be sailing. The ship's stabilisers and bow thruster, all four engines and three generators are working well, despite recent repairs and the ship having been "dead" for two and a half years.

Logos Hope começou sua viagem de 16 dias a Kiel, Alemanha. O navio deixou o porto da estaleiro em Trogir, as 11:58 a ultima amarra foi solta. Logos Hope navegou ate Split para que as autoridades terminassem seus tramites. O navio ira primeiro a Malta onde recebera o combustível para a longa viagem a Kiel.

Logos Hope aloitti 16 paivan matkansa kohti Kielia, Saksaa. Laiva lahti Trogirin telakalta kello 11:58. Se seilasi Splitiin, jossa viranomaiset viimeistelivat lupa-asiat. Matkalla laiva pysahtyy Maltalla tankkaamassa.

Logos Hope has begun the 16 day voyage to Kiel, Germany. The vessel left the shipyard quayside in Trogir letting go the last line at 11:58. Logos Hope then sailed around to wait off Split for final clearances.The ship will first sail to Malta to take on fuel before continuing to Kiel.

Deus e tremendo, na nosso ultima semana em Trogir conhecemos Slavenica, (de blusa rosa e camisa branca a esquerda). Ela e a irma do dono do apartamento que alugamos por 6 meses. Ela e medica e durante uma visita a uma cetro de auxilio a pessoas necessitadas, ganhou um livro, esse livro abriu os olhas dela para ler a Bíblia. Slavenica esta convencida que a Bíblia e um livro especial, mas como não conhece cristãos evangelicos tinha muitas perguntas, e durante um jantar de despedida que seu irmao preparou pudemos conversar e com sua permissão passamos seu telefone para um pastor missionario. Estamos orando para que ela continue nessa busca e com essa sede de Deus, orem conosco.

Viimeisella viikollamme Trogirissa tutustuimme Slavenicaan (vaaleanpunaisessa paidassa). Han on vuokraisantamme sisko. Han on laakari ja yhdessa laitoksessa tyoskennellessaan han loysi kirjan joka avasi hanen silmansa lukemaan Raamattua. Han on vakuuttunut Raamatun ainutlaatuisuudesta, ja hanella oli siita paljon puhumista ja kysymyksia. Keskustelimme pitkaan hanen kanssaan vuokraisantamme valmistamalla illallisella ja lupasimme antaa hanen yhteystietonsa Splitissa tyoskentelevalle pastorille, joka on vastuussa Trogirissa aloitetusta raamattupiirista. Rukoillaan yhdessa hanen puolestaan, etta han voisi jatkaa Jumalan etsimista ja loytaa hanet todelliseksi elamaansa. Han vaikuttaa myos paljon perheessaan ja suvussaan.

On our last week in Trogir we got to know Slavenica (in a pink sweater). She is our landlords sister. She is a doctor and had found a book in a work visit to an institution, which opened her eyes to the truth of the Bible. She started reading the Bible and is convinced that it is a unique book. We had a long talk with her at dinner our landlord prepared for our farewell and we promised to give her phonenumber to a pastor from Split who is responsible for the Bible study started in Trogir. Let's pray for her, that she can continue this thirst for God, and that she can really truly find Him. She is also already influencing her whole family a lot by her discoveries.

Esses são nossos filhos, apesar de terem pouca diferença na idade e terem as mesmas experiências, podemos dizer que são completamente diferentes. Cada um contribuem a familia com seu caráter especial e unico.

These are our kids, even though they have very little difference in their age and experiences, we can say that they are completely different. Each one contributes to the family with their unique and especial character.

No nosso ultimo mes na Croacia tivemos a visita da mae e irma da Maria. As crianças ficaram tão felizes com a visita deles. Que coisa maravilhosa poder ter pessoas em nossa familia que com amor usam seu tempo para fazer o que não poderíamos fazer por eles. Abrigado familia.

In our last month in Croatia we had the visit of Maria's mother and sister. Our children were so happy with there visit. What a wonderful thing to have people in our family that with love use their time to do what we could not do for them, thank you family.
