We have met so many friends in Holland. It was such a gift to see them all. God has been so gracious to us. So many years have passed by, but our friendship continues. We love you all.

Encontramos com tantos amigos na Holanda. Foi um grande presente poder reencontra-los. Deus tem tido muita graça conosco, muitos anos se passaram, mas nossa amizade continua. Amamos vocês todos.
Here are some of my leaders, Juhanni Ahola, pr. Joel and Leo Stevanatto, they are in our Brazilian church in Mandaqui Sao Paulo. Juhanni is our Finnish leader, we are working together since 2001. He and is family were missionaries in Israel for 5 years. I never imagine that these leaders one day would meet. God is awesome !!!

We had many receptions in Holland. We are so happy that we could welcome partners that have and still are blessing our ministry.

We have completed our third port in our second country. At closing last night we had welcomed 17138 visitors in Scheveningen. That is the total of over 23325 visitors in the Netherland. There were 6536 tours given in this port alone.

A few stories from the weekend:

We welcomed 3,330 visitors for the weekend!

SALVATION ON THE GANGWAY - Pastor Jimmy from Suriname, a man coming to visit the ship and second man (name unknown) met halfway up/down the gangway at 11:30 this morning. Neither knew we did not open until 14:00. Both came too early. Conversation began between the two and to make a long story short, Jimmy leads this man to faith in Jesus Christ. They decide to go to breakfast and have a coffee that they thought they were going to have on board. At 14:00 they were both back to the ship as Jimmy the Pastor offered to buy this man a Bible which he did. Now that’s true evangelism and proves God’s divine will and purpose over our lives. Be prepared in season and out!!

THE PUDDLE OF TEARS: Chris, a local, is expectantly walking through the I-Café trusting the Lord that he would find at least 7 people to pray with. Why seven I don’t know but that was his goal. I was there orientating 11 people from Tyndale House on a vision team from Chicago. We had just prayed and discussed our “God Story” program; that of living expectantly for divine appointments. Up walks Chris and asks “do you all believe in miracles?” Absolutely, YES I responded! He then went on to share how he was an abused child, lived in an all boy convent, turned gay but accepted the Jesus as Lord of his life four years ago. Now he was desperate for us to pray for his friend who was still gay and was ready to end his life. We had an amazing time of prayer. And then Chris closed in prayer in deep emotion. It was one of those precious prayers never to be forgotten. By the time he finished, there was a small puddle of tears on the floor. Oh that we would pray with more emotion and conviction believing the God does answer prayer!

We have a great opportunity to start thinking of summer holiday and how we can get involved in missions.

Já podemos começar a pensar em como podemos nos envolver em campanhas missionárias de verão.

So many years have passed by since we last met Esther, she was part of the group of people that serve with us in the early 90ths. Esther is dutch, she has visited us in Finland, she still very passionated about the ship ministry. It was great to meet with her and many other friends. Esther helped us with tours and she is praying about rejoining the OM Ships. Lets pray for her and for many more dutches to have such a powerful encounter with our Lord that they too will want to come and serve with us. We are prayer for 10 dutches to join us, please pray with us.

As soon as we arrived in Harlingen, Holland, we went out in groups to pray for the city, we went with the local believers, it was great. We all met afterwards in a very small congregation. They offered us coffee and some snacks, we prayed together and we also sang some songs. What a great blessing it was and it is , that we can share the same faith all over the world. Jesus is in every port we come to.
