Uma parte muito importante da vida dos missionários em um dos navios da OM, e o treinamento necessário para a sobrevivência no mar. Sempre oramos pela proteção de Deus, mas não podemos deixar de fazer nossa parte, e alem disso existem varias organizações marítimas responsáveis pela segurança e treinamento dos marinheiros e tripulantes de diferentes navios. Sem a aprovação dessas entidades não poderíamos continuar nossa missão.

Yksi tärkeistä asioista lähetyslaivalla työskennellessä on meriturvallisuuskoulutus. Rukoilemme Jumalan varjelusta matkallamme, mutta emme jätä hoitamatta omaakaan osuuttamme. Voidaksemme seilata evankeliumin kanssa tarvitsemme koulutetut merimiehet ja viralliset turvallisuus sertifikaatit, jotka saamme ulkopuolisilta merenkulusta vastuussa olevilta järjestöilta.

One important part of the OM's ships missionaries life, is the needed survival at sea training. We always pray for God's protection, but we need to do our part. And there are several Maritain organizations responsible for the safety and training of crew of different ships. Without the approval of such organizations we wouldn't be able to continue with our mission.

No segundo domingo de setembro, fomos a uma igreja local. 30 dos novos recrutas aceitaram nosso convite para conhecer uma igreja local. Foi um culto diferente e uma boa oportunidade para conhecermos a cultura do norte da Alemanha. O pastor nos apresentou a congregação o que foi muito bom. a noite o pastor veio nos visitar e dizer que uma pessoa da congregação estava nos convidando para jantar. Para nossa surpresa o prefeito da cidade, (Durum) foi quem nos convidou para esse jantar, bem na verdade ele nos convidou para jantar no Subway, um lugar estilo Macdonald. Uma das fotos e do prefeito nos visitando. O norte da Alemanha e muito bonito, esses moinhos de ventos esta em todos os lados.

Syyskuun toisena sunnuntaina menimme paikalliseen kirkkoon kolmenkymmenen henkilön porukalla. Tutustuimme samalla vahan Saksalaiseen kulttuuriin. Pastori esitteli meidät seurakunnalle ja jumalanpalveluksen päätteeksi hän kertoi jonkun seurakuntalaisen kutsuneen meidät ulos syömään. Yllätykseksemme henkilö olikin sen kaupungin johtaja ja han tarjosi meille illallisen Subway-ravintolassa. Kaupunginjohtaja on kolmannessa kuvassa keskellä. Pohjois-Saksa on hyvin kaunis ja viimeisen kuvan tuulimyllyjä on siellä paljon.


On the second Sunday of September, we went to a local church. 30 of the new recruits accepted our invitation to attend a service on a local church. It was for some a different service, a good opportunity to get to know some of the culture of North Germany. The pastor introduced us to the congregation, which was really nice. in the evening the pastor came to visit us and tel us that someone from the congregation had invited us for a mail. for our surprise we were invited by the major of the city, (Durum), he bought us dinner from the Subway fast food restaurant. one of the photos is from the visit of the major. the north of Germany is very beautiful, there are windmills everywhere.

No dia 28 de Agosto, nossa equipe se reuniu para a finalização do treinamento dos novos recrutas. entre os dias 28/08 ao dia 15/09, estivemos reunidos em um pequeno vilarejo no norte da Alemanha. mas de 40 novos recrutas foram preparados para viverem 2 anos em missões.

On the 28th of August, our training team got together to finalize the training program for the new recruits. Between the 28th/08 till the 15th/09, we were in a small village in the north Germany. More than 40 new recruits were prepared to live 2 years of their life in missions.
